Asteroids

Asteroids is a recreation (with a slight twist) of the retro arcade classic 'Asteroids'. This was my first major game prototype built with Godot and was a project to help build my skills and familiarity with using the game engine.

CONTROLS: Use the left and right arrow keys to steer, and shoot lasers with the spacebar.

For the best gameplay experience, turn your sound on!

Note: It is suggested to play the game by downloading and running the executable from the Windows Build download rather than playing through the web player. (There is a current bug with the latest version of Godot where particles don't render on some graphics cards (e.g. AMD), therefore many key special effects aren't visible in the web version on some machines.)
